Tordon Stump Treatment

I have many weedy trees in my fence line, I would like to cut them down and apply Tordon. I do have some desirable cedars nearby. Will Tordon effect the cedars?

Yes, I would be concerned about using Tordon if you have desirable plants nearby. Glyphosate (RoundUp) is another product that works well as a stump treatment for wood plants. Apply the undiluted, concentrated product to a freshly cut stump. Glyphosate does not move in the soil like Tordon does, and is much less likely to damage desirable plants.
